The Narvik
The Narvik is a sauna for two — a small, warm room where a couple can end the day together, or one person can claim an hour of quiet. At 59.5 by 71 inches it fits a corner of the yard, and with an all-weather exterior it's just as happy outside as in a garage or basement.
The heat is classic Finnish. A 6 kW Harvia stove, mounted on the wall, warms the stones and brings the room to 170–185°F. A scoop of water on the hot stones sends a soft wave of steam across the bench — löyly. The sandglass, bucket and scoop come with it, so the ritual is ready from day one.
Everything you touch inside is natural Canadian red cedar. A soft light glows behind the backrest; the oversize chromotherapy light lets you pick a color or switch to red; your music plays over Bluetooth through the built-in speakers. Through the clear glass door the garden stays in view while the warmth eases the day away.
Looking after it is simple: plain water and a soft cloth inside, and an exterior finish kept up over the years. The stove needs its own 240V circuit, installed by a licensed electrician, and the lights and sound plug into a regular 120V outlet.

- Indoors or outdoors — the exterior is built for the weather.
- The whole floor must sit completely level and well supported — a concrete pad or a wood deck. On bare ground, use concrete blocks or a similar base so the sauna doesn't settle.
- Keep the ventilation vent clear.

- Pour small amounts of water over the hot stones for steam. Sandglass, bucket and scoop are included.
- After a session, cool down for about 20 minutes before showering.

- Two adults are needed to assemble it.
- Keep the exterior finish maintained over the years. Never stain the interior — it stays natural wood.
- Clean the inside with plain water and a soft cloth — no chemical cleaners. Care for the stove and stones per Harvia's instructions.

- Golden Designs warranty: 5 years on the wood structure (when properly maintained), control panel, wiring harnesses and lights. The stove is covered by its manufacturer's warranty.
