The Gargellen Flat Roof
The Gargellen Flat Roof is a modern five-person sauna with both kinds of heat under one flat roof. At 81 by 60 inches and 87 inches tall, it fits the yard neatly and still gives the family — or friends who come over — room to sit together.
One switch sets the evening. The 8 kW Harvia stove heats the stones to 170–185°F for the steam of a classic Finnish sauna; the full-spectrum infrared — four PureTech™ Near Zero EMF carbon panels and six near-infrared elements — warms you directly at a softer 118–132°F. They run one at a time, so everyone in the house can have their favorite.
Inside there's a room more than six feet wide with 81 inches of height. Close the bronze privacy glass door, choose a color for the chromotherapy light or switch to red, and play your music over Bluetooth through the built-in speakers. The sandglass, bucket and scoop are ready for stove nights.
Built of natural, reforested Canadian hemlock with a waterproof stain outside, it needs only a finish refreshed over the years, a level concrete pad or wood deck, and one 240V circuit hardwired by a licensed electrician.

Before you buy
Where it can go
Where it can go
- Made for outdoors, with its own roof.
- The whole floor must sit completely level and well supported — a concrete pad or a wood deck. On bare ground, use concrete blocks or a similar base so the sauna doesn't settle.
- Keep the ventilation vent clear.
Power
Power
- One dedicated 240V / 40A circuit powers both the stove and the infrared.
- It must be hardwired by a certified electrician — no extension cords or adapters.
- We can connect you with a licensed local electrician.
Heat and sessions
Heat and sessions
- A main switch selects the heat: stove or infrared. They don't run at the same time.
- Stove: 170–185°F is the ideal range, up to 190°F. Infrared: 118–132°F, up to 140°F.
- Sandglass, bucket and scoop are included for the stove.
Assembly and care
Assembly and care
- Three adults are needed to assemble it.
- Keep the exterior finish maintained over the years. Never stain the interior — it stays natural wood.
- Clean the inside with plain water and a soft cloth — no chemical cleaners. Care for the stove and stones per Harvia's instructions.
Warranty and health note
