The Drammen
The Drammen is a three-person sauna with a long bench that invites you to stretch out. The room is 75 inches wide inside, so a couple can lie back or three can sit with space to spare. Its all-weather exterior lets it stand in the yard, or you can place it indoors.
An 8 kW Harvia stove on the wall heats the stones and brings the room to 170–185°F — real Finnish sauna heat. Scoop water over the hot stones and the steam rolls down the bench in a soft wave, the löyly the Finns love. Sandglass, bucket and scoop are included.
Inside, everything is natural Canadian red cedar. A light glows behind the backrest, the oversize chromotherapy light offers your choice of color or a red setting, and your music plays over Bluetooth through the built-in speakers. The clear glass door keeps the view open while the heat melts the stiffness out of a long day.
Care is easy — plain water and a soft cloth inside, and the exterior finish kept up over the years. Set it on a level concrete pad or wood deck; a licensed electrician adds a 240V circuit for the stove, and a regular 120V outlet runs the lights and sound.

- Indoors or outdoors — the exterior is built for the weather.
- The whole floor must sit completely level and well supported — a concrete pad or a wood deck. On bare ground, use concrete blocks or a similar base so the sauna doesn't settle.
- Keep the ventilation vent clear.

- The stove needs its own 240V / 40A circuit and must be installed by a certified electrician.
- Lights and sound plug into a regular 120V / 15A outlet.

- 170–185°F is the ideal range; the stove can reach up to 190°F.
- Pour small amounts of water over the hot stones for steam. Sandglass, bucket and scoop are included.
- After a session, cool down for about 20 minutes before showering.

- Three adults are needed to assemble it.
- Keep the exterior finish maintained over the years. Never stain the interior — it stays natural wood.
- Clean the inside with plain water and a soft cloth — no chemical cleaners. Care for the stove and stones per Harvia's instructions.

- Golden Designs warranty: 5 years on the wood structure (when properly maintained), control panel, wiring harnesses and lights. The stove is covered by its manufacturer's warranty.
