The Catalonia
The Catalonia is an infrared sauna on the scale of a room: 87 by 75 inches outside, with an interior tall enough to stand in — nearly seven feet. It seats up to eight, so it's the sauna for big families and for friends who make an evening of it.
Its benches are portable, so you arrange the room the way the evening calls for — and Golden Designs built it for yoga, too: take the benches out, roll out mats and practice in the warmth. The PureTech™ Near Zero EMF version uses 23 far-infrared carbon panels; the Full Spectrum version uses 16 Near Zero EMF carbon panels plus 4 near-infrared elements. Both measure under 3 mG at 2 to 3 inches, and both keep the room at a gentle 118–132°F.
Overhead, a galaxy of colored stars glows on the ceiling; the Full Spectrum version adds two reading lamps for quieter moments. Behind the bronze-tinted glass door, music plays over Bluetooth through the built-in speakers, and conversation flows the way it does around a fire.
The panels clasp together and two adults can assemble it. It runs on a 240V / 30A circuit, which a licensed electrician installs.
