The Carinthia
The Carinthia is a three-person backyard sauna that gives you two kinds of warmth. Its wide roof reaches past the walls to shelter the entrance, and accent lights along the roofline make it glow in the garden after dark. It's the right size for a couple or a small family — and for the days when one person wants steam and another wants something gentler.
One switch decides the evening. On one side is an 8 kW Harvia stove with stones: 170–185°F, a scoop of water on the hot rocks and a rolling wave of steam — classic löyly. On the other is full-spectrum infrared — two PureTech™ Near Zero EMF carbon panels and six near-infrared elements — that warms you directly at a softer 118–132°F, so the air stays easy to breathe. The two run one at a time; you choose whichever suits the day.
Close the bronze privacy glass door and settle in. Pick a color for the chromotherapy light or switch it to red, play your music over Bluetooth through the built-in speakers, and let the warmth do its work on tired muscles. The sandglass, bucket and scoop come with it for stove nights.
The Carinthia is built of natural, reforested Canadian hemlock with a waterproof stain outside — keep that finish up and it will keep its looks. Place it on a level concrete pad or wood deck. One 240V circuit runs everything, hardwired by a licensed electrician.

Where it can go
Where it can go
- Made for outdoors, with its own roof.
- The roof overhang adds about 21" to the width and 17" to the depth — leave room for it.
- The whole floor must sit completely level and well supported — a concrete pad or a wood deck. On bare ground, use concrete blocks or a similar base so the sauna doesn't settle.
- Keep the ventilation vent clear.
Power
Power
- One dedicated 240V / 40A circuit powers both the stove and the infrared.
- It must be hardwired by a certified electrician — no extension cords or adapters.
- We can connect you with a licensed local electrician.
Heat and sessions
Heat and sessions
- A main switch selects the heat: stove or infrared. They don't run at the same time.
- Stove: 170–185°F is the ideal range, up to 190°F. Infrared: 118–132°F, up to 140°F.
- Sandglass, bucket and scoop are included for the stove.
Assembly and care
Assembly and care
- Three adults are needed to assemble it.
- Keep the exterior finish maintained over the years. Never stain the interior — it stays natural wood.
- Clean the inside with plain water and a soft cloth — no chemical cleaners. Care for the stove and stones per Harvia's instructions.
Warranty and health note
Warranty and health note

- Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, diabetes or circulation problems, take prescription medication or have surgical implants. Children should use the sauna only with close adult supervision.
- Saunas are not intended to treat or cure any disease.
